| 1. |
The congregation held a general meeting on May 12 after the p.m. services to elect the Council members and auditors. The new Council then met after the election to delegate each of their specific function for the next two years. Br. Franco Chin was elected to be the Religious Affair, Br. John Fan the General Affair, and Br. Tim Joeng the Financial Affair. In addition, Brethren Terry Lin and Richard Baker were elected by the congregation as the auditors. Please pray that the Lord continue His divine guidance that the elected, with the assistance from the entire congregation, work diligently to bring more souls to His fold.

A simple and short mother's day celebration was held on May 12 after congregation meeting, with dim sum treats and mother's day cake. Each mother also receives a stem of rose to show children's appreciation of their love and labor.

| 3. |
The congregation bid farewell to Br. David Liu on May 19. David gave a testimony with the congregation in the afternoon worship service. It was a touching and edifying testimony. He departed for the Bay Area the early morning of May 21, with his friend helping with driving, and already arrived safely at the destination.

Three youths, Tommy Tsou, Jimmy Lin, and Allen Chen attended NYST held at Dallas church.

| 5. |
Family services this month: Downtown, Hawthornwoods, China town, and Buffalo Grove.

Dallas

By the grace of God, the Dallas Church had a fruitful Spiritual with 6 newly baptized members. There were 115 who partook the Holy Communion on May 13. The theme for this SC was "Service of Love."

Working with NYM, the Dallas Church hosted the bi-annual seminar for training of youth leaders. This year's event is termed "National Youth Servitude Training" and 70 youths have taken time off to participate from Friday, May 25, to Monday, May 28, 2007. Their devotion to God's work has been an encouragement to the local church members.

The Dallas church will host a summer retreat this Labor Day weekend at the Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose, TX.

Houston
|

| 1. |
We had our Evangelical Services and Spiritual Convocation on 4/27-29. The theme was on "The Living Hope." USGA sent Pr Chou and Dn CY Kuo to help out the work. There were a few visitors, and 42 members partook the Holy Communion. Praise the Lord.

We had a farewell gathering for Bro Johnny Lee at Bro Patrick's house on 5/5. We also combined it with housewarming at Bro Patrick's new house, a special blessing from the Lord. Bro Johnny is moving from College Station to Temple. He will be attending services in Austin. May the Lord bless and guide his study and spiritual life.

Pr Chou visited us on 5/16-20. We studied the Book of Mark on "Servitude of the Lord Jesus" during three Sabbath services. On 5/19, Pr Chou led a Senior Youth Fellowship class on "Responsibilities of Youths in Church". He encouraged the youths to participate in holy work and also showed us some slides on the evangelical work in the Eastern Hemisphere. May the Lord guide the work in Houston.
